Who is The Guard & Reserve Aid Initiative and what do we do?

Mission:

We are committed to providing essential support to soldiers who do not qualify for traditional VA assistance. We ensure no soldier is left behind, offering financial aid and services to help them rebuild their lives and maintain stability

Who we serve:

Soldiers of the National Guard & Reserve who are not on active duty and fall between the cracks of VA benefits. Service members who are struggling financially or facing challenges with medical bills, housing insecurity, or basic needs. Veterans who have served but may not meet qualification for VA services due to limited active duty or other specific circumstances.

The Gap in VA assistance:

Many soldier, especially those in the Guard and Reserve do not qualify for full VA benefits if they did not meet the 180 days of active service for reasons other than training. This includes those who were activated on state orders and do not qualify with the VA. These soldiers often face unexpected hardships without access to the support they need. Without intervention they risk falling into financial instability, mental health challenges and other long-term issues.

Our Services:

Finacial assistance, to help with critical expenses such as rent, utilizes, medical bills and transportation.

Mental health support, offering assistance to find access to mental health counseling and emotional support, we can assist in the cost of these services.

Basic needs, providing assistance with food, clothing, and other essentials.

Career and Education, helping soldiers transition to civilian life with job training, resume assistance and more.

Other services offered are assisting with home maintenance repair cost and working with Veteran owned businesses who can offer services.

How Donations Work:

All donations go toward helping theses soldiers in need. Funds cover essentials such as rent, Utilites, medical, job training, and emergency financial relief for unexpected crisis.
